So I got to go to the Lieutenant Governors house the other day. pretty awesome :-) 3 of my friends got awards there :-) and we had a super awesome time on our lil road trip! Thursday, April 22, 2010. Yay I’m 22! I had a super awesome FUN birthday! Spent the night in the Big City. then went for breakfast at the CRUSTY BUN BAKERY with Jeff.hmmm German baking. awesome stuff! Went home and had a nice relaxing afternoon sitting on the deck getting lovely emails and texts and phonecalls from Germany. and then had a super cool party in the evening with my super awesome Canadian friends! Tuesday, September 21, 2010. We went to 4 different states on our trip: North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota! We drove over 4000 km total in 10 days. and it all started in North Dakota:. The town of Medora, ND, and the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We saw a LOT of bison on this trip but the first ones we ever saw were at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. they're a lot bigger than I thought they were. Especially when there's no fence between me and them :-). They can run at like 50kmh!

Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Moving on to Montana. where we headed for Beartooth Pass- the border between Montana and Wyoming. Amazing scenery! And towards the end of our driving day we finally made it to YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, WYOMING! Winding our way up into the Montana Rockies. 30 minutes ago we were driving thru the clouds you cans see down there! Leaving Montana. entering Wyoming! Beartooth Pass, 3300m. Entering Yellowstone National Park! And Yellowstone doesn't wait long to show us its beauty:.

Sunday, August 15, 2010. Camping, hiking, Geocaching! Went camping for 2 nights. lots of rain and grey clouds but today: sunshine! And beautiful temperature. 20 degrees, sunshine, wind. NICE. So we went for a hike and tried out our new GPS unit and went geocaching. Never heard of it? It's like a treasure hunt with GPS, hiking with a purpose :-) It was super fun, the cache was in a beautiful spot and we had a lot of fun. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
