Monday, March 9, 2009. Southern Girl in Chicago. We are officially now living it up in Chi-town! It has been quite a journey: a southern girl getting used to life in the north.where a foot of snow is on the ground for about 3 months straight, people don't smile at you in the grocery store, and kindergarteners ask if I'm a hillbilly or cowboy! Remind you, we had nursery furniture ordered, but that was it, didn't have room cleaned out, didn't have anything for Brody, basically, we had nothing nor had we done anything to prepare for Brody. Monday, November 3, 2008. This month has been a whirlwind! We just found out that we are moving to a suburb outside of Chicago. Robert was promoted with his job, so we will be moving to Naperville in December. Robert also won the President's Club award for being one of the top 10 sales reps, which means we won a free, all inclusive trip to the Four Seasons in Nevis (an island in the Carribbean.
