Kind of related to my prior CSI-bitching, those shows are so guilty of a lot of this stuff. You never have to use the space-bar when typing long sentences. Movie characters never make typing mistakes, even though what they type often doesn't show up on the monitor. Advanced computers have easy-to-understand graphical interfaces. Error messages make sense. And then the CSI-specific ones.

Take the Scenic Route. Friday, July 14, 2006. My car on the left. Oddly enough, it's pretty much the same car as the one. That it replaces, a Toyota Carib. A toyota corolla station-wagon with 4WD. Kind of like a Subaru Legacy, but not so prone to eye-watering repair bills, and rather less thirsty. I've done some awesome and crazy things in that car. Take the Scenic Route. Thursday, April 28, 2005. I've been stressed, busy, sick, and busy lately, hence the lack of posting. but just wanted to share some things that seem exciting. Today that Nokia have phones with 4GB hard drive and a 2MP camera. Like an ipod and a stupid widget phone and a digital camera, all in one uber-expensive (I assume) gadget. The warm chocolate scented air wafting over the countdown carpark late on a frosty winter's night, the salt smell of a biting easterly whipping off the harbour, or the rotting rubbish, beer, and charcoal smell of Castle Street. As I was passing through Oamaru yesterday, my only reason for stopping was to check out the screening times for Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. As it seemed to be an interesting way to break the journey. Since the next show was not for an hour or so, I decided to wander around to kill some time and just happened to walk past this hairdressers. Maybe she too thought I was homeless.
