Joanne Hall: Ducks in a Row
http://joannehall.blogspot.com/2009/05/ducks-in-row.html
Thursday, May 14, 2009. Ducks in a Row. When things are out of whack. Church callings, husbands, finances, making big decisions, being tired.and the list goes on. When my "ducks " get out of control and seem to want to take over my orderly routine is when life seems to fall apart or as some say hit the wall. This doesn't happen very often, most of the time only one duck strays and it is very easy to put it back in line, the trouble comes when there is a major. Rebellion and all ducks scatter.

Shauna Kelly-Ward: Weekends are Wild!
http://shaunakellyward.blogspot.com/2009/03/weekends-are-wild.html
Sunday, March 15, 2009. The weekends are the hardest for me to keep to my plan. Everyone is home and they eat anything and everything they want. I realized on Saturday - watching my boys and husband eat whatever they wanted and whenever they wanted lowered my resistance. On weekdays no one is home during the day so I have no trouble staying focused. But the weekends are wild! My family wants to order pizza, drink pop and pop popcorn! I love pizza, pop and popcorn! I love ballroom dancing! As I close, I a...

Joanne Hall: Final chapter
http://joannehall.blogspot.com/2009/05/final-chapter.html
Wednesday, May 20, 2009. I thought it would be fun to write the final chapter to this 100 day challenge and give a recap of what this challenge has meant to me. I feel like a different person, one who is stronger and happier. It really isn't all about the numbers- I am still the tortoise. In the race, but my race isn't over yet. I am really happy that I have lost 10 pounds and can wear a size 8-10. It has been fun to see reaction of others- many think I weigh alot. Others to do their own 100 day challeng...

It is now the number of success- of 10 pounds lost, and more importantly, the direction I am going, the inches I've lost, and the habits I'm making. With that in mind, some of us on the program are starting to swap clothes; instead of "hand me downs" these clothes are "hand me ups"! Labels: Its Only a Number and Hand Me Ups. Sandi Bennett: April 2009
http://sandibennett.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 4, 2009. I feel like I'm back on track and it feels great! I've been able to exercise all week, although a couple of times was only for 30 minutes, and it's easier to pay attention to my body's cues about eating. As I pay attention to why I want to eat - hunger or other - I find I naturally eat less. I also don't eat anything I don't really want. Last night I tried it out. My husband and I went to Mimi's Café. They have meals that exceed my entire daily calorie allowance! It was lots of f...

There are people depending on you to complete this, and, more importantly, to continue on with this healthier life style. You may never know how many people are watching you and gain strength from what you do. Is it not strange how getting your body all tired out from a 5k is something that makes you feel better?
