This summer, I moved from my New York City public high school to an independent, all-girls school (teaching middle and high school) in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout every presentation I saw mixed reactions on the faces of parents. I did see a lot of little smiles and agreeing nods when I mentioned things like there shouldn’t be a time limit on learning, or when I showed them Bowman’s Angry Birds SBG analogy.
