謝坤山，1958 年生於台東，出生時是個活潑健康的小壯丁。小學畢業後第二天，就因家貧輟學赴工廠打工，貼補家用。15歲舉家搬到台北討生活。16歲時在工廠工作時，因意外碰觸高壓電，四肢都被燒焦，連右眼也嚴重受損，經醫生搶救之後，只救回了一隻左腳。從小熱愛繪畫，現在卻失去雙手和右腳的他，為了証明去夜市賣彩券及當乞丐不是唯一的出路，他堅持不懈，用土法煉鋼的方式自修素描。藝術的世界讓謝坤山忘記了自己的殘疾，1980年他師事陳惠蘭和畫家吳炫三，並回到學校完成國中和高中教育。這段時間他與妻子林也真相戀，最後結婚成家，生了兩個女兒、並成為台灣知名的職業畫家。1996年曾獲頒第34屆全國「十大傑出青年」。他的故事經常被媒體報導ʌ...訂閱： 張貼留言 (Atom).
