Making exercise a lifestyle. June 24, 2013. Day 24: Good intentions. I really was ready to hit the gym today but I got caught up in work and by the time lunch rolled around, I could only think of my belly. I had to give the gym at lunch time a miss, sadly. I suppose I could be doing something now as I type this post at 9pm….but I choose to unpack some more bags and boxes instead! Making exercise a lifestyle. June 21, 2013. Days 20 and 21: Knowing my boundaries. EXERCISE: nothing beyond my daily walking coverage. DIET: very carb heavy ending the day with a very indecent macaroni pie and stewed oxtail! EXERCISE: 7.84 km on the treadmill, 5 mins run, 2 minutes walk. CAKE; none BUT I had a large glass of pimms (both my boys were asleep when I got home, so a well deserved little treat I think! Very busy day tomorrow but hoping to squeeze in a run at the start of the day. June 19, 2013.

Exercising the easy way. Asymp; 2 Comments. It’s been said no nation can boast civilisation while it has the shame of Sheffield to face (R Stephen Williams, 1936). Given the state of that city such a statement is hard to refute but I’d like to add that no able-bodied person should live in Sheffield and not be in shape. Due to a lunch time trip to the library I racked up an extra two miles. No biggie but when you have to go up hill both ways that’s something to write about! Total Mileage: 5 miles.

Monthly Archives: August 2013. After a long hiatus, I am back to blogging! And exercise 🙂 I have a half marathon on 30 days and i’m ramping up the training! A lovely run in Sussex yesterday turned into a 20K run, we got lost 😦 Running through fields and small towns (villages) with horses, cows and sheep!
