Monday, October 10, 2011. I still find it hard to believe that I am a mother now. I was not fond of the idea that I had no income. I am not one who likes to depend on other people if I could do it myself. Looked for a part-time tuition centre job close to home, working max 6 hours a day earning $6/hour but it was a little pocket money for myself and to pay for some of the gynae visits. Had to induce her she was not growing well due to my hypertension. J as m i n e left you a note at 2:26:00 pm.

http://koume.blogspot.com/2010/12/hows-married-life-is-what-i-have-been.html
Sunday, December 26, 2010. How's married Life" is what I have been getting a lot these couple of weeks at family/friend gatherings. I guess it is not really "married Life" until it is just the both of you? Plus it is a really odd arrangement we have now; Jay stays at his place on his work days and only comes over to my place when he is not. So we only stay together at home 3 or 4 days out of 7 days in a week? Nonetheless, it feels that we are closer now that we are married, and he takes even better care ...

The Hungry Student Cooks. Where hungry students learn how to cook simple, quick and healthy food. Where Do I Buy My Groceries? Tuesday, July 20, 2010. A Kiwi A Day Keeps The Doctor Away. Quop and I love golden kiwis. They are sweeter than its more common cousin - the green kiwi. I will buy them from Coles. Whenever they are not more than A$6/kg. My mum bought them for S$1 each in Singapore and they are exactly the same ones that we get from here. Golden kiwis are imported from New Zealand. A Singaporean ...

The Hungry Student Cooks. Where hungry students learn how to cook simple, quick and healthy food. Where Do I Buy My Groceries? Saturday, August 21, 2010. I thought cooking butter chicken from scratch was not an easy feat. I suppose ever since Jimmy became one of the Masterchef contestants, some people's opinion of curries has changed. This recipe. I have substituted some ingredients. I am not sure if the final result differs greatly from that of the original recipe, but you know what? Recipe is taken here.

There's another branch in Takashimaya but I have yet to go there.

Guacamole white bean dip. Lately I just can't get enough avocados! I recently discovered the joy that is avocado toast, and I'm obsessed. My kids don't really like avocados, which means that I get to enjoy the abundance of avocados I've been buying without two little people asking me for bites and stealing food off my plate. Sweet! It uses just a few very simple ingredients, plus it's gluten free, dairy free, and vegan! To try, and they were the perfect complement to this delicious dip! 2 teaspoons fresh...

Peaches and cream scones. I love scones. And I love peaches. So what could be better than combining them into a delicious, delicate, and tender peaches and cream scone? Ever since I made those amazing lemon poppyseed scones. I've been looking for another excuse to use my cute scone pan, and these scones did not disappoint! The scone dough is light and moist, and the peaches add so much great flavor. They're adorable and elegant too. These are the perfect treat to celebrate the end of summer! While this q...

Meal of All Meals. My first point of reference was obviously The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. It was meant to be a toss between Per Se and Le Bernardin. Then I met a lady who found out I was going to New York and started to rave about Eleven Madison Park. She had just dined there and insisted I go. In 2014, it was the 4th best restaurant in the world. I am seated. The performance starts with a small white envelope with a letter opener. I open it and there’s a card with 4 symbols. December 11, 2016. Chocolate Chunk Zucchini Banana Bread. Ebirth is an incredible thing. To look back at who you were just a few years ago and see a totally different person is not at all alarming. It was more like keeping life in a standstill. Keeping life unaltered, safe. It was my way of making sure I was immune to everything, an...So I cont...
