Pistachio en la cocina. The day-to-day life of a foodie! Monday, January 28, 2008. Lamb Korma, Rice and Peas, and Chapatis. I had half a leg of lamb in the freezer and was a bit stumped as to what I could do with it . apart from another lamb tagine of course! I decided to make Rice and Peas to serve with this, and some chapatis to help mop up all that lovely sauce. Yum, yum, yum! Lamb Korma - Serves 4. 1 large Spanish onion, finely sliced. 3cm ginger, chopped. 1 clove garlic, chopped. 1/4 cup raw cashews.

Ho a portata di mano il libro di Madhur che non ho ancora rimesso a posto dall'ultima volta che è stato usato e così mi dico, dai vediamo che riusciamo a mettere insieme. La cucina è fantasia. Dalla scuola con furore. Queste uova le ho preparate a scuola qualche settimana fa e, dato che tra noi alunni hanno avuto un gran successo, ho pensato di prepararle anche a casa per Luca. Ho usato tre uova per quattro sformatini - le ho lavorate insieme ad un quarto di latte ed uno di panna, sale, grana ed erba cipollina. Ho imburrato e spolverizzato di formaggio quattro stampini, vi ho versato il composto suddivito più o meno equamente e ho messo il tutto in forno a bagnomaria per mezz'ora.

Quello di mio padre. Stessa settimana di quello di Max, stessa cena, altra torta. Questa è una crostata di limone e l'ho presa dal libro Passione di Gennaro Contaldo (grandissimo cuoco amalfitano che esercita, manco a dirlo, in quel di Londra - beato lui). Ho preparato una julienne di bucce di limone e l'ho messe a bollire in uno sciroppo di acqua e zucchero per una decina di minuti, finchè l'amaro non è andato via. I find those sheets you need to pre-cook a fiddly and time-consuming bore, and turn making this comforting dish into a real chore. I usually make a lasagna using vegetables or lentils . this time, for a change, it's one I've rustled up based very loosely. Lasagna alla Bolognese - Serves 6 generously, or 8. 1 Tbsp vegetable oil. 800g tomato frito or passata.
