Josh, Leila, Cora, and Esther Stewart. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. The joy of motherhood comes in moments". I don't remember who said that, but it's true. I tend to miss a lot of these moments, or not appreciate them. Cora is so good at playing by herself that often a whole morning goes by without playing with her. She is starting to ask for me to play with her, though, which helps. "Mama play game Cora? A miracle has occurred: Fall has finally come to Houston! It's supposed to get down below 50 tonight!

Monday, April 30, 2012. I can't get enough of her! This was at my work's Easter egg hunt. She got the hang of it after a little while. I love how she carries the little bucket around. She always has to have stuff in her hands. Remotes, shoes, binkies, or combs. Check out that gap in her front teeth! She fell asleep like this and I thought it was hilarious that she had the pen in her hand still. The faucet makes a great little chair. The coiled up hose also makes a great seat. Joey's job is going well and he's such a great teacher that he's moving up to a full time position this Fall- and may even get a lead teaching position if budget allows. I realized today that I've been shamefully bad about updating this blog so, here's a quick recap a few things I've missed: My mom came to visit at the end of September. It was awesome to have her here and we did some fun things like shopping and going to one of the local apple orchards. And then we made some delicious pie with the apples we got. Yum! Here's Joey carving his first turkey. He did a really good job.

Thursday, March 8, 2012. It's been a while. Life is busy. I think of great things to post, then never do it. Here are things that have been on my mind these days. Babies grow up too fast. Molly is getting big and sassy and makes us laugh every day. She likes throwing tantrums lately. Hilarious because she's such a little teeny thing, but not something we want to encourage. Jenny, you're the best feelings doctor I've ever had. I don't know what I'd do without a feelings doctor like you! Kyle and Jen Keate.
