http://ben-brierley.blogspot.com/2015/06/a-little-bit-of-tlc.html
Welcome to my blog. Here I will create a real time commentary of my latest News. The way I make, fire and show my work. As well as any other stuff which makes it all tick. Thursday, 11 June 2015. A little bit of TLC. I delivered a firings worth of wood down to the Wysing Arts Centre anagama kiln last year in preparation for a firing. However, while there, noticed a brick had fallen out of the arch above and just to the left of the firebox. On Tuesday Mr Parry. Above: the tree keep, deep in the woods.

low fired: July 2012
http://lowfired.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, 26 July 2012. End of Year Show. End of year show looked fantastic - we scrubbed the rooms up well and with a fresh lick of paint and some new boards they looked like proper exhibition spaces. I think our year was a talented bunch and it was really good to see the culmination of everyones two years. Annoyingly I did not take a camera but grabbed a couple of pics of Jasons facebook page at http:/ www.facebook.com/media/set/? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. O Luxo do Lixo.

Saturday, 30 July 2011. Just back from a bit of a break - some photos of amazing tiles to add here soon - and I actually have a commission. Unfortunately I plug my old kiln in for fist time since it was moved in January and it is broken. The commission is for a small sculpture for a wedding present. I am going to send an email to the customer with a couple of alternative pieces that I have in stock and hope either they are of interest or they dont mind waiting a bit. Friday, 8 July 2011. low fired: final glaze tests
http://lowfired.blogspot.com/2012/04/final-glaze-tests.html
Friday, 20 April 2012. Last batch if glaze tests came out of the kiln today. Lots of work to do on the colours and what forms they fit (I tried the tan and the green on some deep bowls - the tan looked awful but the green great). I used slip casts from a squash bottle lid found on the beach for the tests, each colour was single and double dipped;. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
