Wednesday, December 8, 2010. This guy turned 16 months this week, and in the past three months we went from cute little baby, to ever raging toddler! We are finally over the lets get five teeth at once.so.all.I.do.is.scream. stage-whew! He's moved onto bigger and better things, like climbiNG. This child has no fear, none, he climbs on everything and anything. He has completely. Lost all interest of his high chair, and will only eat at the table with the rest of us. Stay young buddy :). Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I love when the big brown UPS truck pulls up in the neighborhood. I'm always jealous when it stops across the street. Today was different.that big brown truck stopped at my house! I was a little confused when the guy in brown walked up to "my" door carrying a big box. "For me? I said to him. Monday, December 27, 2010. It was a whirlwind of days, we spent time decorating cookies at Grandmas. Visited with family and friends from both near and far. Sofia from Costa Rica celebrated Christmas in MN! Even the guy in the red suit came for a visit. There were plenty of laughs when granny got a marshmallow shooter! Monday, January 17, 2011. I've been hibernating, trying to stay warm! The kids don't mind the whipping winds, and bitter cold. All day long they come in and out, I'm putting on their hands and mittens at least 10 times a day. My entryway is a salty, muddy mess constant.ly. But I love seeing their cute little red cheeks when they walk into the warm house. We finally caught ONE of them! Parker was so excited that he caught the ground squirrel. He set the trap all by himself. I think Eric was pretty proud of Parker. Sunday, December 12, 2010. You know you have a lot of snow when. The snow drift in the driveway is half as tall as your over 6' tall husband! What a weekend of snow! Eric attempting to snowblow the driveway. After a while, I went out to help him because I knew he was going to be out there for hours. After both of us worked on it for a while, the neighbor across the street came by with his big truck and blade and finished the entire driveway for us! THANK YOU Mike from across the street! Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Parker played flag football again this past fall. He was a part of the Gold Chargers, coached by Eric, Dave Haugland and my dad. It was a great season and Parker loved EVERY minute of it. I have to admit that I was a super proud mom watching him play out on the field. He did SUCH a great job! If you ask Parker what his favorite sport is, he will say football. My favorite picture. I'm not sure who had more fun throughout the season, Parker playing football or my dad coaching!
