Can't Never Did Anything! Monday, August 29, 2011. Let the Taper Begin! Wow, two weeks to go! The race is right around the corner. I have essentially completed all of my training and now I'm tapering. Which is the process of cutting back on excercise two weeks prior to a big event. In some ways, I'm really excited to take a break and not have to do so much. However, I'm also nervous about it, I'm hoping I've done enough and I'm ready to go the distance. Thank goodness I have someone to meet there or else I wouldn't go.}. So if you need a little motivation to get the gym. GET A FRIEND. To meet you there! Believe me.it helps! We worked out our backs and triceps! My Dad told me to do a pull-up.uh… ya right! I can't even do one. But I will get there eventually. YOU WILL NEED IT. Needs to be hard.
