Travels of Leah: A trip to the mountains...

http://travelsofleahnoel.blogspot.com/2011/04/trip-to-mountains.html

A bit of whats going on in my life. Saturday, April 16, 2011. A trip to the mountains. Last week, we were able to go on a little outing to the mountains! One nice thing about the mountain atmosphere is that it's "cold". Ok, so cold is a bit of an overstatement lets just say, it's the only place where you feel the need to wear anything heavier than a tank top. Here is Ruthy making Isaiah laugh and enjoying making use of her sweatshirt:). The top of the tree is covered with these guys, it's SO beautiful&#4...

Travels of Leah: A Long over-due update!

http://travelsofleahnoel.blogspot.com/2011/02/long-over-due-update.html

A bit of whats going on in my life. Friday, February 18, 2011. A Long over-due update! Well, I have been in Indonesia for a little over 3 weeks now, time has flown for sure! This fact makes me very thankful that I am staying here for 3 months, instead of 1. It seems like the first 2 weeks are always spent adjusting to the climate, time change, and a small portion of cultural differences. I've also been doing some cooking and baking, and squishing of unusually LARGE spiders! The Kanes have recently moved,...

Travels of Leah: Painting, again!

http://travelsofleahnoel.blogspot.com/2011/04/painting-again.html

A bit of whats going on in my life. Tuesday, April 05, 2011. Now before I started working on the girls room, I painted Ben and Ruths room. Why all this painting? Well, simply to help it feel like home! The house is painted, but every room is the same color, like a minty green. So now it's nice to walk down the hall and have a change of scenery in the back rooms:). I know in the picture below it looks like I'm painting the room purple, I promise it's not! It looks SO good! You're doing such a good job!

Travels of Leah: Curtains and Natural Disaster!

http://travelsofleahnoel.blogspot.com/2011/03/curtains-and-natural-disaster.html

A bit of whats going on in my life. Friday, March 11, 2011. Curtains and Natural Disaster! One project I have been working on while I'm here is making curtains for Ruth and Bens room and the girls room. This has taken my sewing skills to a whole new level, not that sewing the curtains is difficult, but its in the manner they are created that the trouble arises! In Indonesia, just about the only type of sewing machine available is the type pictured above, pedal power! It has made me think once again thoug...

The Daily Travels of Kelly and Diederik

The Daily Travels of Kelly and Diederik. Thursday, April 5, 2012. Our day was absolutely perfect! Diederik and I are so happy. The day was fantastic. Having everyone at the wedding was so special, especially family and friends who had traveled from far off lands to share in our celebration. We were told that we made marrying each other look so easy. We looked so relaxed, people have said. Well, want to know the secret? Tuesday, February 14, 2012. It's officially finally officially approved! Diederik had ...

Just another WordPress.com site. Day 10 Tuesday morning. June 21, 2011. We awoke to a blue sky morning, our first since leaving Petersburg. Travels of Leah Maria | Sharing my travel experiences with you from afar

Travels of Leah Maria. Sharing my travel experiences with you from afar. December 12, 2013. Here are some travelling quotes that I love and help put a smile on my face despite the fact that my 6 month adventure has come to an end! As cheesy as it sounds, I will say it – my travelling experience has been eye opening, life changing and has helped me to appreciate what and who I have in my life. I have learnt so many things (both positive and negative! One final day in Melbourne. December 12, 2013. Hike the...

Friday, November 28, 2014. What I Hope I Can Teach My Son, about LIFE, LOVE, and HIMSELF. Being someone's parent, and having the responsibility and privilege to guide them into becoming and knowing their full self, is a lot. Not having someone else to split that duty with is even more challenging. And other than the fact that I will always support you expressing YOU, I will also make sure that you can support yourself.
