Charlie Hebdo and the end of “my innocent Paris”. January 12, 2015. To me, Paris was a dream. I remember my time in the city with memories of freedom, indulgence, and glamour. Checked in for the flight - more bureacracy - first you must queue at the bank and pay departure tax (lower for us than the others because we were flying out via Delhi), then change your Rupees for Dollars (no sterling), then check in with your receipt for the departure tax. The perfect connection - no hanging around at all.

Look at the Pretty! A Bi-Weekly Photoblog of Northern California and Beyond. The Road to King City. April 18, 2017.
