On July 4th my family and I attended the Biscuits baseball game, and about halfway through my granddaughter asked for a box of popcorn. I love the stuff, so of course I had to get a box for myself. She and I do not do well with that whole sharing thing. Did you ever, when you were a child, pour salt on a slug just to watch it wither up? Well, that's exactly how my tongue was beginning to feel after my third handful of popcorn.

Mercy on my day. Saturday, July 20, 2013. So where was I and where were we? Not 3 minutes later, literally, there is a sign that says the next exit is for the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park.
