Monday, August 18, 2014. Thank God for friends. Ah, I started this blog with such good intentions. I was so excited to start it, and used to post regularly. Then came facebook (which was so much easier and so much faster), and then came baby #4 in my life. Whoops! There went even more of what little free time I had left at that point. So, now my blog is pretty much DOA, and what few people WERE reading it have probably stopped since I haven't posted in over a year. Sigh. Oh well. What do you want from me?

Friday, March 22, 2013. Making the cut - the who, what, where and WHY? I have had long hair for the majority of my life. There was a 2 year period in high school where I sported short hair (I chopped it really short after a breakup - how cliché), and then I went back to growing it out and kept it long for the next 14 years. Taken in June 2012, which explains the post-partum pooch I am sporting. It was time to call the hairdresser and chop my hair before there wasn't enough to even make a decent donation.

(Some people on the ship had some serious pirate costumes.). Here we are in our pirate costumes. Caden and Caroline were Jake and Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Did you hear about the Goodmans? Palmer, Becca, Emily and Lindsay. This week, Emily lost her first tooth. I has been wiggly for a while so she was brave enough to allow Palmer to pull it out with a pair of his pliers! She is braver than I would have been!
