Point Numbers

You can adjust which point numbers are displayed easily. Points Number settings are separate for All points and Box points. I normally have All points - Point Numbers off and Box Point Numbers On. Here Station 0 is selected. Points numbers are turned on and shown for the selected points. Now Station 25 is selected and the corresponding point numbers are displayed back. Here all point numbers are displayed - If there are too many points the point numbers are too dense and overwrite each other back.

Creating Points

Points may be entered into the program several ways. Imported from a comma delimited ASCII file. Format #, North, East, Elevation, Comment. Format #, East, North, Elevation, Comment. Imported from a DXF file. Calculated from an Intersection. Distance from two points. At same coordinate as an existing point - with or without an offset. After you have acquired the points it is important that the point has a meaningful comment. Manage the comments with the Comment Editor.

System Requirements to run CS2

System Requirements to run CS2.exe. Must have or be able to install Microsoft dotnet framework ver 2.0. Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows 98; Windows 98 Second Edition; Windows ME; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP Service Pack 2. Dotnet 2.0 Download - from Microsoft. You probably need the x86 version. Acceptable performance on a PII 350 with 128 meg - if it is the only program running. Will work with 800x600 display, is a lot better at 1024x768, nice at 1280x1024.
