http://caitoconnor.blogspot.com/2014/05/sentenced-to-life.html
Monday, 26 May 2014. Once, I would not have noticed; nor have known the name for Japanese anemones, so pale, so frail. But now I catch the tone of leaves. No birds can touch down in the trees without my seeing them. I count the bees. This morning I heard James Naughtie read the poem Sentenced to Life. On the Radio 4 Today programme and it moved me to tears, it was read so well and the words. well the words speak for themselves. The poet is the great Clive James. And when I walk the mile to town, I show.

Friday, 13 June 2014. She was such an evocative photographer - and quite a character if you read about her. There was a long article about her recently in the New Yorker. I will send you the link in an email. 13 June 2014 at 04:13. Loved the photo so much I had to go and read about the photographer, fascinating lady. Saw many more of her photos, made me want to take out a camera and take some photos of faces. 13 June 2014 at 06:47. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). CAIT'S PHOTOS, MY OTHER BLOG NEXT-DOOR.

Jeez, I want a cape. Are we there yet? April 8, 2015 · 7:13 pm. She wears it well…. So The weather is getting better. Spring is here, the sun’s out, we can put our bobble hats away for another few months and choose our footwear based on what we like, instead of what is least likely to make us fall over on our arses in the ice. Run free, all of you, I’ll see you back here in October. Oh wait, hang on a minute. You’re not a woman are you? In that case there are a few little rules you need to consider.

You know the ones; two dozen writers saying the same thing over and over. Truth be told, we all know these rules, we just like to have them confirmed to us by people who look like they know what they’re doing. Anyway, having got bored with most of the tips, I came across this one from Josh Shenk ,. Author of Lincoln’s Melancholy:.

The Halo Revelations – Now Available. The Tale of Lily Brice. Go Rest High On That Mountain. September 14, 2013 10 Comments. Here’s his choice of song. I think it’s appropriate, no matter if you’re Christian, Atheistor whatever. Listening to it, I was able to mourn in private. I wish I could have been there to be part of a family tradition, no matter how sad. There couldn’t be anything more important than celebrating family in life or in death. Reflections of a Pilgrim: MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL
http://ekta57.blogspot.com/2009/07/music-food-for-soul.html
Reflections of a Pilgrim. Tuesday, July 28, 2009. MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL. I was listening to a Ghazal by Hariharan -‘JHOOM LE’ a beautiful ghazal from the Ghazal Album Kaash. Hariharan’s soulful music never fails to amaze me. I am not so familiar with Ghazals , but this one surely makes me feel the peace and tranquility. Musical notes dance if we can watch them. What wonder to be mesmerized by music and her greatest gift, her musicians! What astounding creators they are! MUSIC - FOOD FOR THE SOUL.
