Monday, April 6, 2015. Well, I've been away for awhile. Today is opening day in major league baseball. Or was it last night? I don't know. I can't keep track. It's hard here in Denver, Colorado. Because who cares? I did follow the run of the Kansas City Royals to the World Series last year, even watched a few of the games. It reminded me of the 1980s, when there were good teams in places like Kansas City, Minnesota, Oakland, and Cincinnati and it wasn't just all about the stupid Red Sox and Yankees.

I couldn't recover the flub, so as I felt the belly-flop coming, I decided just to let it happen and stopped on a major chord. DONE. The good thing about me, is that I already did all the crying I'm going to do over musical flubs in front of a couple hundred people. I did what I did. I made the call and it wasn't the right one. Oh. Well. It can only help me learn to do better next time.

Musings of My Life. A good substitute for sedatives. Monday, July 5, 2010. My First Day at the New Job. Today was my first day training for my new job. Since it was the Monday after a major holiday, it was pretty boring actually. Most doctors offices were closed, so there weren't a whole lot of prescriptions rolling in.
