Friday, September 12, 2008. Those Good Old Dreams - 151. It's a new day for those good old dreams.one of my favorite songs. Heard it again the other day. It's inspiring me to move forward and really work towards better health and my goal weight. I started good (2 egg whites, a banana and a few nuts) but then ate 4 creme cookies. I've got to be more aware when I eat. I need to concentrate on each food selection and determine if it will move me towards my biking goal or not. Crash and not burn.

Monday, September 29, 2008. From Goat To Glory. One of my 14-year old boys plays quaterback for the local High School JV football team. I had the pleasure (? The other day of attending his game - in the rain. The game was back and forth throughout the first half, with our team (the home team) leading by a few points near the end of the 3rd quarter. However, by the fourth quarter the opposition had taken the lead by two points. Wet and cold, the players and fans all celebrate with loud, gusty cheers.

Monday, November 3, 2008. Started real training today - CC 12-week Off-season conditioning program. Excited to do core work, biking and flexibility programs. Last 4-6 weeks were Transition program. The breathing and core work helped keep me fit as I re-geared for the 12-week program. Weight is stable, but I'm drinking more water and eating more veggies and fruits. Monday, December 15, 2008. This week I am going to try and get my p90X nutrition. Down Since I just did bootcamp. I took this past week to eat off the wagon but now I feel all puffed up like the marshmallow. Man Too many carbs. Too much sugar makes me a "blah! Here's the basics from the plan.
