DrewPhotoAlex : November 2015

http://drewphotoalex1.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 20, 2015. For this batch I experimented with putting faces on buildings. I also experimented with rotating images and making sure the really fit on the building as well as possible. I believe that my images were very successful i the blending processes overall by best photo is in this batch. Sunday, November 15, 2015. Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://drewphotoalex1.blogspot.com/2016/05/spring.html

Sunday, May 8, 2016. For this series I focused on textures on the ground. I then edited them to change the tones textures. For my next series I want to focus on shapes and shoot more in color. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Simple theme. Powered by Blogger.

DrewPhotoAlex : Spring 3

http://drewphotoalex1.blogspot.com/2016/05/spring_22.html

Sunday, May 22, 2016. For this series I focused on using the levels feature in photos. I played with the levels to get the light to pop and the color to flow naturally. For my final series I want to experiment with editing more and maybe try lightroom. May 23, 2016 at 9:00 AM. These are real nice textures, I like the use of the filter on the 4th image. May 25, 2016 at 8:33 AM. Just a wee bit over edited. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Simple theme. Powered by Blogger.

DrewPhotoAlex : spring 2

http://drewphotoalex1.blogspot.com/2016/05/spring-2.html

Friday, May 13, 2016. For this series I focused on lights. I edit the photos to show more black. I focused on the green wall and how the light blended in with the black. For my next series I want to focused on more colored walls and more light. May 13, 2016 at 8:21 AM. I think these are really good, to me they could maybe be more drastic in the difference between dark and light. May 13, 2016 at 8:23 AM. I think that these are a tad too dark. Perhaps try to lighten and add a pop of colour to each image.

Ana's Pictures : Color Grids Draft 1

http://drewphotosana.blogspot.com/2015/05/color-grids-draft-1.html

Friday, May 15, 2015. Color Grids Draft 1. This week and last week I have been experimenting with color grids. I search for specific colors in the environment and put them into a 3x3 grid with pictures of similar hues. This is my blue color grid. I am trying to improve it at the moment because I am not. A fan of the two bottom right pictures. This is my green color grid. I like it because of how much of it is nature, and. Made from nature. :). A much cleaner look. Ana's Pictures : December 2014

http://drewphotosana.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 12, 2014. Independent Project 2- Color Effects. I like this picture because it was originally from another project,. But the fuchsia of the flowers is a bright contrast to the black and white. I like this picture because the mountain is actually brown,. But using effects of color, I made it appear black and white. I like this picture because the door is extremely colorful, and. The subject is in black and white. It is an interesting contrast. It almost feels strangely warm. The element o...

Monday, November 3, 2014. In this portrait, I felt I needed to connect more with. The subject's eyes, so I began to take more natural,. In this shot I felt I captured more of the warmth I was. Looking for, and I was really pleased at how happy. I like this picture because I think the subject's personality. Really shows through nicely. I like this because the subject looks happy :). This picture is pretty much what I wanted from the beginning,. A beautiful smile and a natural environment.

Friday, September 25, 2015. In this section of the assignment, I tried to take images that looked almost identical on either side of the image. The hardest part of this assignment was lighting because even if I could get the camera in the middle of the symmetrical surface, the lighting was not always perfect. Friday, September 18, 2015. Drew Photo Sam: First Half of Class Portraits

http://drewphotosam4.blogspot.com/2016/04/this-is-example-of-bellas-black-and.html

Wednesday, April 20, 2016. First Half of Class Portraits. This is an example of Bella's Black and white textures set of pictures. She used editing to make the blacks blacker, and the lights lighter. In this portrait of Bella I did the same. As you can see her hair is a very dark texture which pairs nicely with the boosted light shed on her face. I think the picture came out and it clearly looks a bit funny. At first I was going to redo the portrait, but after a short reflection I realized it was kind...

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Artist Statement: For this series of photos I tried to accomplish the goals of having multiple photos combine to blend together. I used two different filters to accomplish this goal, one being the black and white filter and the other being the warhol filter. I feel that both filters were very effective in different ways and makes all the images create an interesting batch. Friday, December 9, 2016. Effects used: Posterize and Sepia. Saturday, December 10, 2016. There are two things I like about this photo. One, the exposure is low so the whole photo is very dark and shadowy: Ben's head and Leo's jacket are a various ominous shade of pitch black. I also chose the tallest male in the class and the shortest, which looks pretty cool together. His was fun because it has a normal human model next to a masked one. This was one of the only pictures I used that had an unmasked model, so it's pretty unique. I like this one because it's blurry...
