Thursday, August 11, 2011. What I Have Learned This Summer.and Other Rants. Summer 2011 went wayyyy too fast! I have lots of fun things to tell and mostly just ramble about. Things I learned this summer:. Traveling by Amtrak is a lot of fun, especially when I am the sole driver of the family and. So unbelievably tired of doing all the driving. Just wanted a nice break to enjoy the ride. We left out of Union Station in KC early on a Monday morning. Having flown before, I am. Listen to the 14 year old gripe.

Sunday, September 5, 2010. Here I am, wondering how August is over and we are well on our way into September. The calendar is full, and I have yet to figure out just how it is that I have had sooooo many meetings lately, and more scheduled for this week. What can there possibly be to talk about? Rachel is super busy with volleyball, but she really does love it! She plays the piano and has decided to do percussion instead. She is really excited about this, and I am hoping the two will go hand-in-hand.

Monday, March 14, 2011. What Happens on the Farm, Stays on the Farm. Tye is home from the farm. He told me he use a pitchfork to clean up sh%t out of the barn. Wow! Got a good laugh and then had to remind him about our deal about only talking like that on the farm! He was so excited when we came into town to see Rachel and Amberlea, and then disappointed they weren't home. Rachel came in to grab something and I'm not sure he even saw her. Saturday, October 20, 2012. Daniel's mommy played in a wind symphony concert this evening so we got to have Daniel over to play! The boys have had so much fun. They played with cars all night and chased each other around the house. They get along great and are so fun to watch. Our favorite activty is playing with Lightning McQueen and all of the cars! Mom to Three Monkies. I know you can relate! So I ate a bigger than normal late lunch and was super full ALL afternoon. I decided to try to run at 5pm for about 4 miles while Jeff took the kids to the Y.
