My Hands Speak After 25 Years Paris was served on a fresh platewith honey on the side, and I took its hand.My left hand says this is true.I call my right, the one that thoughtwe should have married the doctor. It touches my hair as the phone rings.“Why haven’t you called? 8221;my husband of twenty-five years asks.My right hand cups my right breast, the one that always tightens first. The one my husband.

Words about writing, singing, living and loving. Guided tour & welcome. March 28, 2009. For your willingness to open a window into your lives. The clumsy humour of your personal descriptions. For the places you led me I had never seen before. The jokes and stories you shared with me. For the courage of your honest wanting. The chivalrous generosity of your gifts. For the open tribute of your intent desire. The sweetness of your vulnerability. For your valiant navigation of what it is to be men. Not exact...

Words about writing, singing, living and loving. Guided tour & welcome. Gathering round the fire →. May 13, 2009. I have hung my lute on the wall. And tied it with a green ribbon. I don’t sing my songs any more;. My heart is so full that I can’t find the words. Once my longing and loneliness poured out in song. But now my joy is so great that no sound can contain it. Now rest here, my lute. And when the wind stirs your strings. I wonder, Is it the final echo of my songs. Gathering round the fire →. Augus...

Uneasy I get comfy in my chair. I bite my lip. As I hold back from touching myself. Sitting here alone, tapping at my keyboard. Enjoying every ounce of pleasure. Licking in ci...

They enjoy laughing and giggling at funny poetry. If the poems in a book tickle their funny bones, they want to read more and more of that author, and then other humorous authors. After awhile, they will not only read to laugh, but they will read to succeed in school and life. Ah, the power of funny poetry! 5 Crack you up...

Bilder av vår värld från ovan. Friday, June 02, 2006. Man lever på olika vis i olika delar av världen, utifrån olika förutsättningar. Här följer en enkel resa med ett möjligen övertydligt moraliskt imperativ. Vi kan börja hemma. Brunnsbo, Göteborg, här bor jag:. I London ser många områden ut såhär. När staden växte fort blev tegelradhuset i raka rader snabbt standardmodellen för att klämma in många människor på liten yta:. Ännu en bild från Moskva:. Tätt tätt i Mexiko City:. Samtidigt i Soweto, Sydafrika:.

poetryfromafar-Poems by Martha Little, paintings by Matug Aborawi

Poetryfromafar-Poems by Martha Little, paintings by Matug Aborawi. I have a painter friend who is an immigrant from North Africa, Matug Aborawi. He can't seem to stop painting the boats that are coming from Africa to Spain that arrive without people, the people who arrive without boats. There is something alarming and compelling about his paintings, and also expectant and hopeful. His paintings don't let us close our eyes. These poems are dedicated to the ones who didn't make it. Can there be so many arms.
