7 Ways Funny Poetry Can Transform Our Lives By Joe Sottile. August 17, 2012. Funny poetry is like a magic wand that can transform our lives in seven ways:. 1 Kids love hilarious poetry. They enjoy laughing and giggling at funny poetry. If the poems in a book tickle their funny bones, they want to read more and more of that author, and then other humorous authors. Bilder av vår värld från ovan. Friday, June 02, 2006. I London ser många områden ut såhär. poetryfromafar-Poems by Martha Little, paintings by Matug Aborawi
Poetryfromafar-Poems by Martha Little, paintings by Matug Aborawi. I have a painter friend who is an immigrant from North Africa, Matug Aborawi. He can't seem to stop painting the boats that are coming from Africa to Spain that arrive without people, the people who arrive without boats. There is something alarming and compelling about his paintings, and also expectant and hopeful. His paintings don't let us close our eyes. These poems are dedicated to the ones who didn't make it. Can there be so many arms.
