My Garden Room: January 2013
http://garden-of-rachel.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 17, 2013. When my daughter came back from Australia, she brought home some belts. My sister, Amanda, had also bought quite a few for me when she went to England last year. With such a 'large' collection of belts, I decided to make a belt hanger for my daughter. I bought a set of wooden hangers from Ikea, and some metal hooks from a hardware shop. The hooks were screwed into the hangers. There were hooks on both sides of the hanger. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

My Garden Room: June 2013
http://garden-of-rachel.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 30, 2013. I have a shrub of bamboos at a corner of my garden. New shoots appear after each rain, and they grow really fast. The bamboo poles are rather slender, making painting not very easy. I used acrylic paint to paint on the pole, and it was not easy for the paint to stick on it. It took time for the paint to dry before a layer of different colour could be applied. Even though we had very hot sun, drying could take more than a day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Easy cooking. Easy living. For my three children, hope my menus will give them some ideas as to what to cook tonight for dinner. Friday, August 29, 2008. Omelette is very easy to make. Sliced half an onion. Saute in a little bit of oil for about 10 seconds. Then scoop up. Add some salt and pepper to 2 beaten eggs. Pour the eggs into a warm pan. Swirl the pan to get a large, round thin layer of fried egg. Very carefully fold the omelette into half. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

To find an item / a service. Monday, July 15, 2013. It may surprise many people, but I spent months looking for a white chest of drawer. Not many furniture shops are selling this, but I found one shop near the Store at Jalan Gopeng. There were about 6 designs, solid wood, according to the salesperson. I finally bought one at TD which is of good quality and at a much lower price. I found the items sold there are cheaper than those sold in other shops. On the second floor of Ipoh Garden Plaza). From Ipoh with Love. Good food. Beautiful places. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. 大脚 is pig knuckle. 细脚 is chicken feet. The stall draws business because of the catchy names of its dishes, not so much on the tastes of them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Easy Cooking. Easy Living. My Life. My View. Easy cooking. Easy living.: January 2009
http://atoasttomylife.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Easy cooking. Easy living. For my three children, hope my menus will give them some ideas as to what to cook tonight for dinner. Saturday, January 10, 2009. I like to use chives (韮菜) rather than leek as it has a stronger taste. But I think it is easier to get leek when one is in Australia, so I replace it with leek in this recipe. Wash leek thoroughly under running water to remove earth and grit, especially those hidden between leaves at the base near the roots. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
