Thursday, 15 January 2015. Well its time to get the van sorted out ready for this new year. I think getting the outside cleaned up and polished is the main thing that needs doing. Still haven't decided if we will be taking the van abroad this year or not, the high costs plus my ill heath is bit of a worry. Although the price is coming down and my health is improving (I hope). We have however booked onto several UK sites leading right through the year but we will have to see what happens as time goes on.

Our holidays in France and Belgium. Saturday, 28 May 2011. France 2010, Day Nine, Gastes. Day Nine 12th June. Changeable weather again and still fairly cool. First thing, we got Mick and Bren's awning up, second year with the van and the first time it has been put up. Thursday, 5 May 2011. Germany 2007, Day Three. Day three 5th June. As usual when we are away, England have am important football match, so I spend ages getting the satellite set up. I have been using a freeview receiver as a sat finder to good affect before connecting the proper sky receiver but the remote control for it is missing, it has never been out of the van so where is it (when we get home it is in the house? Sunday, 8 May 2011. Germany 2007, Day Nine. Day nine 11th June. Spent the whole day at the pool, what a difference with the kids back at school, not a sole in the family pool and just a few in the adult pool. We had food and drinks from the pool cafe, we read our books, we sat in the sun, we went down the slid numerous times, we put on suntan lotion when it was too late, we got sunburnt. Wednesday, 19 February 2014. I am feeling a lot better at the moment after our last trip to York. And have even been looking to book a couple of sites. Up to now though, I have only booked two places, one around Dots birthday in March and one around Ambers birthday in April. We are off to Barnard Castle first and then to Peterborough later, I seem to have missed York. I will have to work on Dot though to be able to get some more booked very soon. Our intention was to stop in De Haan for a seaside walk and then at a supermarket in Blankenberge for the final beer shop. If you look at Belgium 2005.
