My Couch to Marathon Journey. On March 23, 2012. Alright, so as of March 7th I’ve officially started training for a marathon. If you know me, this is a big deal; I’m not exactly the running type. My Couch to Marathon Journey. So, I’ve been trying to run since the day after I signed up for the race, but life keeps getting in the way. Not only did I manage to hurt my legs (oops) by pushing myself too much too fast (. Way to go, 2 miles. But its been raining. My Couch to Marathon Journey. On April 2, 2012. I’m pretty sure it was because I had been going on the elliptical five times a week for the six months preceding that though. So, this next week I’m going to run 3 or 4 times a week, and go on the elliptical 2 or 3 times. I just want to make sure my exercising ability ramps up, without injuring myself by running more.
