Asked me the other day if I was ever going to write another post. Well, here ya go. For the last few months I've been sinking into a funk. An intangible depression for which I could pinpoint no cause. I fear I may have finally identified the root of my distemper. Being a Chef is heartbreaking. My chef got his semi-annual review from the GM today. Thanks a fuckin' lot boss.

A warped world-view from the hot side of the line. Monday, March 06, 2006. A FULL day off. I got my pantry guy to close for me on Saturday so I could leave as soon as we closed. I went home, went straight to bed, and was asleep by 11pm. At 1:30 am I got up, made a pot of coffee, got breakfast and a shower, put the skis in the truck and was off. By 3am I was Obergatlinburg bound. Into it, I'd move to Lake Tahoe in a second (Never happen, she loves Nashville too much). Posted by cookinboy at 7:33 AM.
