Jonathan and I had an amazing weekend with a youth group from Brandon MS. I got to teach the middle school girls and he got to teach the Senior boys! It was also great to catch up with old friends from Ruston, Cody and Christina. We had a family night where we watched a movie on the porch. It was great weather and so much fun! Jackson caught a toad. He was so proud!

Here is Abram's Birthday cake.I wish I could take credit for this, but under the circumstances, I decided I better defer this responsibility to a friend, Christine. It was so much fun and all the boys went on an adventure in the woods. Jackson started Pre-K this past week. It was a good day for him and he totally loved it. I, Erin, cried off and on all day but I am hoping each day will get better! Jackson painted Frazier a frame for Christmas! Jonathan built a fire pit! Bff Dave and Brooke.

Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Bucket List Check Off. No one tells you the downside to long distance running/walking. Aside from praying I would die for the two days that followed the race because I was so sore.the next week my toenails started falling off. When I began to ask my runner friends and google this phenomenon I was told repeatedly "oh that is normal". What the heck? Why did no one tell me this before? How is this normal? Here are the two "bigs" with some of their gifts: Angry Bird t-shirts, Camel Baks, and frisbees for disc golf. They're like little college students! For the record.Jonah is now 8 and Seth is 6. Mary outdid herself with the cupcakes for their party. Yeah, she made candy look like meat on the grill. She is awesome. Those cupcakes are adorable!

Monday, August 15, 2011. We just got back from Student Week in Glorieta, NM on Friday. Student Week is one of our favorite times of year because it gives us a chance to get away with our family and our college students for a time of spiritual refreshment.
