COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire: November 2009

http://cookwithanne.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Traditional Mandarin Fried Rice - Anne Geren style. This is my version of fried rice. It is fast and easy and is a one pot wonder! You can buy BBQ pork pre-made in any asian store or in Wal-Mart's grocery. That is where I found it! The peas and carrots are purchased frozen and I microwave it while I am prepping the ingredients. I hope you enjoy it! It is recommended to use day-old rice so that the drier rice can soak up the flavors.

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire: December 2009

http://cookwithanne.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire. Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Steak au Poivre and Pommes Frites. You can use any steak you wish but be sure it is a thin cut. One more thing, be sure you are not up close to the Cognac when you light it! I almost lost my eyebrows. 4 tenderloin steaks, 6 to 8 ounces each and no more than 1 1/2 inches thick. 2 tablespoons whole peppercorns. 1 tablespoon unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon olive oil. 1/3 cup Cognac, plus 1 teaspoon. 1 cup heavy cream. Heat up oil in frying pan.

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire: Nutella Wontons

http://cookwithanne.blogspot.com/2010/07/nutella-wontons.html

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire. Monday, July 26, 2010. These turned out scrumptious! Yield: 24 pieces, about 4 to 6 servings. 24 won ton wrappers (there is a gluten free Noy Soy wrapper brand available). Sugar or powdered sugar for garnish. Nutella Wontons are very easy to make, you can make Nutella wontons in just a few minutes. You may want to make a Sundae and place a few of these on the side of the ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire: Coffee-Charred Chipotle Flank Steak

http://cookwithanne.blogspot.com/2010/10/coffee-charred-chipotle-flank-steak.html

COOKING with Anne - Mom Extraordinaire. Monday, October 18, 2010. Coffee-Charred Chipotle Flank Steak. The Secret Ingredient - Coffee:. Coffee-Charred Chipotle Flank Steak. Using coffee as a secret ingredient opens up a bitter, bitter world in the kitchen. In a good way. I have found, in experimenting with coffee, that it adds a flavor component not found in other ingredients. 2 teaspoons granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder. 2 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper. Cook on first side ...

Get inspired. get organized. get cooking. Root Vegetable and Quinoa Rosti. January 24, 2017. This is a really tasty recipe for this time of year, utilizing root vegetables. It’s quite comforting with middle-eastern spices and works with your healthy diet plans. Feel free to use what root veggies you have on hand – just be careful of your heat when cooking – the natural sugars can burn – so medium to medium-low heat and a sharp eye and nose is needed. Root Vegetable and Quinoa Rosti. 1 cup cooked quinoa.

Yes, and I made the curry along with mutton and its liver.  Mutton liver or thilli is an excellant source of iron, and moreover they dominated the entire flavour and we all nourished the same.  This curry goes great with rice/idly or dosa.  I hope you try the same and let us know.  .
