The History of Coshocton. Although Coshocton has never grew into a major city in Ohio it still has many of the perks of a medium sized town. Through the 1940-2000, there were many factories that were located in Coshocton that helped keep the population up and keep money flowing through the town. Even though some of these factories have since left Coshocton, most of the population has remained in the town still today. Image taken from Google. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. December 4, 2013. Away from Downtown Marietta. Walking away from downtown Marietta, you find a quaint residential area as well as Marietta Memorial Hospital and Marietta College. The residential area is different from historic downtown because while Front Street is focused on businesses, there are very few people that actually live there. Most residents live a distance away from Front Street but still within relative walking distance to maintain access to the shops. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
