CROSS COUNTRY CRUNCHIES

Friends discussing whatever suits our fancy. Friday, December 21, 2012. So I've started mystery shopping as a way to supplement our household budget and have an excuse to eat out every few weeks. Some of my favorite jobs so far have been having food delivered to my house, checking gift card displays, and going to fast casual restaurants on somebody else's dime. It's been a way to earn some extra money and have fun. If this sounds interesting, a few caveats:. To avoid giving out your SSN, you can sign up ...

CROSS COUNTRY CRUNCHIES: July 2011

http://www.crosscountrycrunchies.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Friends discussing whatever suits our fancy. Friday, July 15, 2011. General Conference Book Club. I have such a firm testimony of the importance of General Conference. My goal every year is to read through the entirety of the Conference Ensigns (or Liahonas, when I read it in French). I always take notes in the margins and love discussing the principles that are revealed to me through study. I found this General Conference Book Club. Thursday, July 14, 2011. I really enjoyed this post. I found this post.

CROSS COUNTRY CRUNCHIES: Why the Lord Ordained Prayer

http://www.crosscountrycrunchies.blogspot.com/2012/12/why-lord-ordained-prayer.html

Friends discussing whatever suits our fancy. Monday, December 17, 2012. Why the Lord Ordained Prayer. Josh and I have been studying what it means to pray with real intent of heart, and I came across this AWESOME conference talk from none other than Elder Bruce R. McConkie. By the way, I've discovered that praying with real intent of heart means at least two things: first, having the intent to do our best, second, having faith that the Lord will follow through. Interesting, no? Anyway, here's the link.

CROSS COUNTRY CRUNCHIES: Priesthood Session

http://www.crosscountrycrunchies.blogspot.com/2012/12/priesthood-session.html

Friends discussing whatever suits our fancy. Saturday, December 15, 2012. December 15, 2012 at 6:11 AM. I had a giant comment written and then it was lost. Arg! I kept saying amen as I heard this talk (I download them and listen on itunes). I love reading child development books about gender. Its fascinating. This is one of societys biggest problems IMO. No one wants to work (self included). December 15, 2012 at 3:03 PM. Do you have ten smiley faces? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A message of hope.

Taylor Made: September 2012

http://jamesandnatalietaylor.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 30, 2012. On Saturday Becky and I took the kids on a much anticipated hike up to the Y. The older three kids have been asking and asking to do this for over a year, Candace and Joshua even longer. Here is the group at the trail head. Any rock we found, the kids loved to stop and sit on them. Luke was quite the trooper. He walked about half of the way up. Aunt Becky. She helped so much. We never could have made it without her. She carried Luke a huge portion of the hike. The tiny dot in ...

Saturday, June 15, 2013. I tried to be extra creative with his gift from us and his cake, but it all went wrong. The cake is supposed to be a cloud while the helicopter is obviously flying in the sky. Luke was really excited about the helicopter. He loves seeing real ones too and lets everyone know when he hears one outside. Everyone helped Luke blow out his candles. The cake might not have looked the best, but it was delicious. Grandma Taylor sent this lawn mower and it was a big hit.

Taylor Made: North Pole Express

http://jamesandnatalietaylor.blogspot.com/2014/12/north-pole-express.html

Wednesday, December 10, 2014. On Monday night we went as a family to ride the Heber Creeper. It's an old steam engine train that was built in 1899. They had it all decked out for Christmas. We technically had paid for more seats than we occupied, but we loved being all cozy and squished. The conductor came around and punched our tickets. Mrs Claus was there and the elves passed out her chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate. Claire bear did so well. Claire makes some pretty hilarious faces sometimes.

Saturday, October 25, 2014. Where the Wild Things Are. I love the tails, I dont know why, bu they are my favorite part. Joshuas tail, and Levis tail are just so perfect. But I think Lukes costume is my favorite overall. I love the stripes and feathers-those must have been a ton of work. And I adore the picture of Claire on the grass, squinting and smilling. SOOOOO CUTE! October 25, 2014 at 10:28 PM. Seriously. i really cant take this! October 26, 2014 at 4:50 PM. October 26, 2014 at 5:08 PM.

Tuesday, April 29, 2014. We loved having Heather, Ben and Justin come to one of the boys' soccer games. Between their games, the boys got some extra practice in. Candace took these pictures and I love them. Luke and dad joined in as well. Painting with the neighborhood kids. Levi, Candace, Joshua, Henry, Carson, Aliyah and Joshua. This is Levi explaining to us all about pickles. They studied all about them for their last unit in preschool. He's explaining the differences between dill and sweet pickles.

Saturday, October 27, 2012. Sunday, October 21, 2012. We had a visitor in our house this past week. Webby, the Chilean Rose Tarantula was welcomed into the family. The kids really took to her. They watched her cage endlessly. Levi even put a piece of his Hubba Bubba bumblegum in her cage to "share" with the spider. Luke was very affectionate towards Webby and would wave and blow kisses while continually saying, "Hi! Candace and Levi kept their distance most of the time. Monday, October 15, 2012. Candace ...

My Big Ride

Sunday, August 5, 2012. This experience has been amazing! Friday, August 3, 2012. 160; Also a big thanks to Rob's Family for the buffs.  I love it! 160; After getting to camp I quickly fell asleep.  It was very hard to get up for dinner, but Gene dragged me to the Appalachian brewery. After dinner I went right back to bed. Today was rough! Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I have breakfast duty tomorrow, and it is supposed to be the hardest day of the ride so I need to get some rest. Good night.
