Finding Joy in My Journey

Finding Joy in My Journey. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. For quite awhile my children believed that a mommy went to the dentist to have a baby. Makes sense if you think about it from their perspective: food goes in your belly; it gets there through your mouth. If you throw up food, that comes out your mouth. So of course a baby in your belly has to come out of your mouth. What kind of doctor looks in your mouth? A dentist. See? My belly, as is illustrated by our after-dinner conversation. E: Oh But hooow.

Finding Joy in My Journey: November 2011

http://findingjoyinmyjourney.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Finding Joy in My Journey. Saturday, November 19, 2011. We bought a new house in September (more on that later) and one of our favorite things about it is the Humongous back yard! Yesterday we got about 12 inches of new snow. Kasey and the girls had so much fun playing outside in it. Kimberly attempting a snow angel. Kimberly loved tackling Daddy in the snow. I think he liked it too! Making snow angels on the deck. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Sammy would be 10 months old today. 10 months! Sammy, 5 weeks.

Finding Joy in My Journey: Getting Ready For Christmas. Or Not.

http://findingjoyinmyjourney.blogspot.com/2011/12/this-holiday-season-is-proving-quite.html

Finding Joy in My Journey. Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Getting Ready For Christmas. Or Not. This holiday season is proving quite difficult. More so than I expected. I'm very emotional and not at all in the "Christmas Spirit.". This girl, who every year can hardly stand to wait til Thanksgiving is over to start the Christmas music, has not played one carol yet. This girl, who loves Christmas countdowns and advent calendars, has not bothered to dig them out of storage. View my complete profile.

Just for Tara - The ramblings of a mad pianist. 05 April 2009 @ 08:30 pm. Okay, you've asked for it.but I'm not quite sure what to say. Anyway, the rest of the day is sort of a blur. I remember going home and feeling like I was going to vomit all over the car. Mom finally rolled down my window for me and I somehow made it home. I was super dizzy all day. Mom and Dave had me each by an arm as I was escorted into the house with Dad following because they were afraid I would pass out.

Finding Joy in Florida – Searching the Past, Present, and In Between the Lines

Finding Joy in Florida. Searching the Past, Present, and In Between the Lines. In Florida, It’s Absolutely Great to Be a Cracker. April 15, 2014. By Joy Wallace Dickinson. This Orlando postcard from the 1890s was captioned “The Cracker in Town.”. In a lot of places, you might be slugged for calling someone a cracker, if you mean a bigoted, redneck Southern white. But in Florida, it’s great to be a Cracker so much so that we capitalize it. Cracker: The Cracker Culture in Florida History. University of Flo...

A song of ascents. 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—. Where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord,. The Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip—. He who watches over you will not slumber;. 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel. Will neither slumber nor sleep. Nor the moon by night. Now we se...

He has a leading role in Flapper and I am very excited to see him perform! I have waited for this since the last solo when he was 8! I have be...

Finding Joy in the Desert

Finding Joy in the Desert. Friday, February 6, 2015. When I close my eyes I can still see you. I can feel your precious cheeks on my lips and I can smell the scent that was uniquely yours. I can hear your tiny squeak and I can feel the peace I felt when I first held you and the heartbreak that incurred when I placed you in a bassinet and said a final goodbye.
