Has been sold to Illinois artisan and show promoter, Robin Reed and her family. Although there will not be a spring show this year, Robin will be continuing the Country Folk Art Festival. Traditionally, smokers were carved to depict the common man; laborers, craftsmen, and tradesmen. My smokers are completed hand sculpted out of brownstone clay, all pieces are original in design,. The decoy is 7 1/2 inches in length and finely carved in the shape of a trout. It is believed that the decoy was made by an outdoorsman/artist in Michigan in the 1940’s.
