Folk Art Fish Decoys. A blog about collecting vintage folk art fish decoys. Trout fish decoy, circa 1940’s. I obtained this beautiful folk art fish decoy in 2007. The decoy is 7 1/2 inches in length and finely carved in the shape of a trout. It is believed that the decoy was made by an outdoorsman/artist in Michigan in the 1940’s.
