Monday, January 21, 2013. I've loved Anna Quindlen's essay writing for a long time, but somehow I'd never read any of her novels. I picked up Rise and Shine. At the last library used-book sale, and read it over the last few days. And I loved it, absolutely loved it. I give it four stars out of five. Posted by Diane Perin Hock. Monday, April 30, 2012. Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here. But I thought I'd start again with a photo I took last week, of a gorgeous iris. I take a lot of flower pictures - but somehow when I'm strolling around with my camera and see a flower, I can't resist the urge to hone in on some delicate feature or luscious color.
