Natural Mom Knits: April 2008
http://naturalmomknits.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2008. Hemp and Wool Dishcloths. I have been looking for an alternative to those yucky sponges and plastic dish things that simply do not work. Well I got myself in gear and actually knitted some dishcloths. In them naturally. Not to mention you just throw them in the was and hang them in the sun to dry. I have recruited my oldest into helping me make more because this week I am throwing out all of our sponges. Great thing too is my new dishcloths. Stacey is great to work with. Into my k...

A Skein of Yarn (or Ten). Knitting, Crocheting, Yarn, Patterns, and more. Brea is coming along nicely. The picture does not do the color justice at all. The color is a beautiful cross between burgundy and cranberry. I’m about 2/3 done with the back of the swe. I also saw a new sweater I want to make on Ravelry. It’s called Crete. It’s been a really long time since I’ve posted here, but I have a couple of good reasons — heart surgery and spinal surgery. Between hospitals and rehabs, ...A week ago, however...

Femiknitzi: August 2007
http://femknitzi.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 29, 2007. Aches and Pains, Tofutsies, Stitches. So, apparently I knit too much. My daughter informed me of this last month, as I went back to the house to retrieve my knitting as we were leaving to go run errands (one never knows when one will be able to get in a couple of rows, eh? Mommy, you don't have to knit. She said, exasperated. I replied, as I fetched my socks. "But it doesn't work," I added. More on the Yarntini Jaywalkers for my girl. A pair of Tofutsies:. Then there's some ne...

Femiknitzi: We have a winner!
http://femknitzi.blogspot.com/2007/08/we-have-winner.html
Thursday, August 16, 2007. We have a winner! Thanks so much to everyone that entered the contest. After several perusals of all the entries (which were all really funny- it was a tough decision), I decided on Sharon's. See kitty, that's how baby lambs are made! Of course there have been more yarn purchases and more knitting, but I think I will wait to post pictures of that. It's the first week of school and I'm beat. Congrats again to Sharon! I'm sure she'll write all about her project on her blog.

Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Can someone explain this. Stone chips" my ass. Those are. The blue sweater continues to progress. I am attempting combination knitting now that I have split it at the underarms. No matter what I try, I end up with one row of twisted stitches when I start, that I have to frog back. Tammy's Knitting Space: October 2006
http://tammysknitting.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 29, 2006. The winds they were a-blowing. Well, my weekend didn't turn out quite as I expected. As I mentioned in one of my earliers posts, my mother, me and my kids were going to take a trip to a farm Farmhouse Yarns, LLC. We decided after to do a little shopping, and stopped by the Saybrook Country Barn. I may have not turned out to be the day I intended, and I did not touch one hank of fiber, but it was a great day anyhow, spending it with my girls and my mom. I have lots of photos to s...
