Little Knitter on the Prairie: February 2010
http://littleknitterontheprairie.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. Finally some time to make a quick post. Haven't had much time to do as much knitting as I'd like but I have managed to work up a few quick items for an upcoming baby shower. In Berroco Vintage purchased at Twist. And I'm still working on the final baby hat. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I live in the wide open prairie of Kansas where I'm raising my three children with my wonderful husband. I enjoy knitting, sewing, counted cross-stitch and quilting. View my complete profile.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. I better get back to cooking. I'm busy preparing some appetizers to take to our annual New Year's Eve party. The Tortilla Roll-ups are chilling in the refrigerator waiting to be sliced. The onions are almost done caramelizing. For the onion dip. After I finish that it's time to make the famous No-Bake Cookies. Yum, yum, yum. Happy New Year Everyone! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Visit me on Ravelry.

Friday, October 24, 2008. Here are finally some pictures of the finished Hibiscus for Hope. Socks Now I just need to wrap them up and give them to my friend. Here's the completed Helmet Liner. My son likes it so much I think I'll work on re-sizing the pattern to fit his four year old head and make him one. Yesterday I went to Twist. And purchased all the yarn to make another pumpkin basket. The pattern is 12:01. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Visit me on Ravelry.

http://littleknitterontheprairie.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 27, 2008. Words just can't convey it. I'm treading water with everything going on but the important thing is I haven't sunk below the water. yet. There is just so much to do with the business and family activities that it is hard not to feel completely overwhelmed all of the time. Cue Debbie Downer music, " Wah. In completely unrelated news I'm sitting on a secret that is killing me! It's a surprise for tonight and I can't hardly contain my excitement. Wheee. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The ot...

Sunday, July 7, 2013. I'm a huge fan of The Lord of the Rings. And specifically of Samwise Gamgee. Yesterday I watched The Fellowship of the Ring. And there was one short scene that stood out to me. As Sam and Frodo are leaving the Shire, Sam stops a few steps behind Frodo. "This is it," Sam whispers. Frodo asks, turning around to see what Sam is talking about. Sam hesitates, then says, "If I take one more step, it'll be the farthest away from home I've ever been.". Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Someone was...

The Little Knittin' Kitten
The Little Knittin' Kitten. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I've been working away at socks, as planned, for the last few weeks, but I've only managed to finish that one pair of Spring Forward. I was planning to start another pair of socks to work on, since socks make good travel knitting, but a voice in the back of my head has been whispering "a small sweater would be so nice to knit on trains". I contemplated Hey Teach! Blog from this weekend, I noticed that she had linked to the February Lady sweater.

Thursday, August 5, 2010. Not literally, thank goodness. i used to think that i was allergic to wool. turns out i was only sensitive to the really scratchy stuff and only in a sensory sense (lol). not a true allergy. Speaking of timing, i've gotta get outta here - baby needs to sleep! I am typing one-handed right now, since i am nursing my littlest one, and will be avoiding the shift key. thank you for your understanding.*. Posted by Michele Munoz-Miller. Sunday, August 1, 2010.
