It's been a while. What happened.it's not like I totally disappeared.and I never stopped knitting.I just became busy with other stuff.like painting, dolls, cooking, photography.social networking, running a business, exhibitions, markets, moving and life! But I have definitely been knitting.slowly finishing off my wips and starting new projects.here's something I made a while back for my nephews bride.she loved it and it looked great. See I have been knitting. Trying to squeeze more hours into the day to do something pleasurable like knitting has been pretty tricky lately. My painting has taken off quite quickly I've had to exhibitions recently and a third on the way plus keeping up supplies to galleries that are selling my work! I've also hit the market scene so the hours between sleeping and breakfast are reserved for making items to sell, like dolls and pin cushions. But as soon as possible I'll post up pic of my new hat! Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Ive thought about coming back so much over the past year and lately its been on my mind to start up again. It seems that so much has happened in the past year and found so many new friends and new hobbies. I will start with this:. I have been knitting too, not as much as before the car club though. In the next few days I will start taking more pictures of it and uploading it to Rav. If you are curious about what Ive done, I have literally hundreds of pictures on Flickr.

The fingerless mitts above are knitted in a cashmere/merino blend- they are soft and warm (and of course, my favorite pair were the black ones! I used the pattern from the Weekend Knitting Book. The Little Knittin' Kitten. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. I've been working away at socks, as planned, for the last few weeks, but I've only managed to finish that one pair of Spring Forward. I was planning to start another pair of socks to work on, since socks make good travel knitting, but a voice in the back of my head has been whispering "a small sweater would be so nice to knit on trains". I contemplated Hey Teach! Blog from this weekend, I noticed that she had linked to the February Lady sweater.

After a week of deliberation, and quite a few pattern purchases, I thought I had settled on a pattern. I bought some extra fabrics and got to it. After a few test blocks, I thought I was ready.
