Tales of the Ordinary. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Tick, tock.tick, tock. Nora with her new doll, a big sister gift from her friend, Megumi. Nora showing excitement over her new toddler bed. Nora and her maternal great grandmother, Abuelita Dorila, enjoying lo mein together. Zuly at 34 and a half weeks! Nora's favorite song is titled "Las Horas" (the hours) by Jose Luis Orozco. She requests it by shouting, "Tic, tac! At one o'clock Jose Luis eats tuna, at two o'clock he eats arroz. Happy Easter to all!

Monday, November 12, 2012. We are still here! I don't know if anyone is still following this blog or not, but I am going to try hard to work on updating it more regularly. Since the last post, when I detailed that Mary Ellen turned 4, and we had moved to Hodgenville, we have actually moved into a house here, and Charlotte is about to turn two in a little over two weeks! We have already celebrated with friends and family with a horse party, but I am sure we will do something on her actual birthday!

When we returned for her 6 month appointment, we found that she had a big growth spurt passing her biggest sister at her 6 month appointment, but still a little behind Charlotte. We celebrated her birthday twice with a party a couple of weeks ago, centered around her favorite animal, a horse. Yesterday, we celebrated with lunch at McDonalds and dinner at Hometown pizza, and of course opening presents and blowing out candles on cupcakes! But it has never had a direct affect on me. Until now, that is. When we made our decision to adopt, people gave their "oh wow.
