Our Random Thoughts: April 2014

http://www.ourviewfromeasterntime.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 23, 2014. During our jetsetting month of March we also made it to one of 2 family weddings in 2014 (the next family wedding is in september in Newfoundland - hooray! Our cousin Justin Frosina married Kellie Herd back in October, in the UK where they live and where Kellie is from. They then hosted a big celebration in Canada for all of Justin's family who couldn't make it to the official ceremony. What fun! Justin, Kellie and us. Typical Italian wedding dance. The gorgeous happy couple!

Our Random Thoughts: January 2015

http://www.ourviewfromeasterntime.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Friday, January 23, 2015. We had a busy and exciting holiday for 2014. We had been so sick in November and December it was nice to have everyone healthy again! We arrived in Oakville on Dec. 19 (last day of school before the break). On Saturday morning we gave Jake his big gift from us - a Toronto Maple Leaf's jersey and 2 tickets to Saturday Night's game! You can see how thrilled Jake is! Andre too - making the ultimate sacrifice as daddy to go to a Toronto game, being a Habs fan :). On Monday morning w...

Our Random Thoughts: September 2012

http://www.ourviewfromeasterntime.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Sorry it's been slow for updates lately. We are all adjusting (slowly) to the new routines. I am astonished we are 1/2 way through September and it's fall outside! I feel like we were just at the beach? But I do not know the ins and outs of BOE administration. I also think Andre is enjoying the new schedule b/c i can get the kids, get snacks, and get to activities without it impacting him.he can still schedule late meetings or be picked up while we're en route to or fro...

http://leblancoverseas.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Our journey through life and the world, teaching as we go, meeting wonderful people and enjoying our time together. Friday, November 21, 2014. Levant is a classy restaurant and we love it! Located behind Le Royal at 3rd circle, Levant is a must for when family come to visit. It is one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at in Amman. The food is very good. We spent all our money on appetizers because they are so yummy. The hummus, metabul and vine leaves are excellent! The service is exceptional!

Our journey through life and the world, teaching as we go, meeting wonderful people and enjoying our time together. We spent 5 days exploring this magical, ancient city and we just loved it! On our first day, it was raining so we stopped of at a cafe where we could play Backgammon and that was the start of a new love for us. Everyday, we played Backgammon and it has become a popular game in our house. Thanks Istanbul! We spent many hours in rug shops, drinking tea and trying to decide on 'our' rug. Eatin...

From the Balcony

Monday, May 14, 2012. Say hi to Heidelberg. Last month Karen and I were visiting a good friend in Frankfurt when we struck upon the idea of taking a day trip South to the town of Heidelberg. People have remarked how charming the city was, and I had been reading the Mark Twain's A Tramp Abroad. With much delight, so it was an easy choice to take the hour long train ride. When we completed the steep walk up to the castle grounds, the three of us were greeted with a lively atmosphere of musicians, clowns an...

View from the Edge

View from the Edge. This blog is the wild, crazy, sometimes painfully honest journey of a woman who lives on the edge and loves it there! Saturday, July 02, 2011. It's time. Time to resurface from a long trip to the depths. I gotta tell ya, over the last few years, I've hardly known what to do or say. Even one day at a time has sometimes been too much. My life fell apart, and what does a girl do as her heart's getting put back together piece by piece? Monday, May 02, 2011. Remember Where You Were? It was...
