O the bus station to catch a ten hour bus ride to Cuzco. Being the most popular base point for any trip to Machu Picchu, Cuzco is usually fairly full of backpackers, Americans and people trying to sell crap to you. and travel agencies (see former, middle and later.). Sunday, 11 March 2007. The bus to Puerto Iguazu was suprisingly easy, or as easy as spending twenty hours on a bus can be. it was definitely worth spending the extra 25 pesos on a fully reclinable seat. the Iguazu falls themselves were pretty good, although still strangely underwhelming. pictures to come. Then the next day we had to get another bus from the Brazilian side of the border across the country to Florianapolis on the coast, this time the coach was meant to be only the sixteen hours.

nick's travel blog: Rio

http://runningforasthma.blogspot.com/2007/04/rio.html

Tuesday, 24 April 2007. Rio was fairly brilliant. we found a hostel one block from the nicest beach in Rio, Ipanema, which just so happened to be showing the entire cricket world cup, this was purely coincidental, of course. But i did do touristy things. oh yes! Chairs and punches were exchanged before the Brazilian police quietened things down in their own inimitable style. the second game wasn't quite so exciting, no Romario goals and no riots. Some angry Flamengo fans. 24 April 2007 at 20:08:00 GMT.

Runningforayrie's Blog | Just another WordPress.com weblog

Give to Running for Ayrie. Nora has said the 16th of February should be used to celebrate Ayrie’s life, which is exactly what Richard and I will do today. Nora’s sister has asked that we remember a particular memory or recent dream we’ve had of Ayrie. I’ll share one memory about one of the first times we baby-sat the boys. Ayrie went through a period of jumping on the bed…although do kids every grow out of that? So if you too want to remember Ayrie today, my silly advice is to act like kid! And Richard a...

Running for Baal Dan

Wednesday, September 8, 2010. The power of $1. Do you know how far $1 goes in India to help children in need? Most of the children have gained weight and are doing much better. And should there be greater needs in the future, Baal Dan will be there. The following shows what Annamamma was able to buy for the kids with a donation from Baal Dan. 15,000 rupees = $319. 24 tins of Pediasure. 8 tins of Ensure. 6 packets of baby food. 2 kilos of apples (considered a luxury). I big bottle of Maza (mango drink).

May 30, 2014. May 13, 2014. My wife met with our social worker for the last time today. Every Friday night, Mr. Applesauce and I have a pajama party. I spent the rest of my waking moments wishing I could un-see what I had just read. May 7, 2014. Come see us at the Adoption Carnival on May 31st! May 5, 2014.
