Running for a Reason is a club that combines non-competitive running and charity giving. The club was put together in the summer of 2003 by Katie, Julia and their brother Sam Ransohoff. Our entire fundraising effort has been in support of the work of Hospice of the Valley in particular, support of children. All fundraising efforts have been from bakesales, raffles and support for our endurance training to run a 5K. Running for a Reason. Last updated January 2010.
