DC RNR Half Training: Week 3 Recap | Preppy Runner
http://preppyrunner.com/2013/01/dc-rnr-half-training-week-3-recap
DC RNR Half Training: Week 3 Recap. Per usual, I think DailyMile and I disagree on how to describe my training:. I don’t know if I’d call 17.64 miles “rocking” but I had a good training week last week. It wasn’t perfect, but I’m getting back in the swing of things. Fabulous speed workout while watching the Inauguration. Tuesday/Wednesday: rest days. Semi-fail. 75-minute yoga flow class / therapy on the yoga mat. A little on the slower side for me, and really freaking cold, but otherwise went well. Jess r...

Running On Beer | A blog about running and beer brewing
A blog about running and beer brewing. This Blog: One Year Later. August 15, 2015. So I’ve had this blog for about a year. In the first blog post on this blog, I talked about running a bit, and a little bit about beer. I’ve posted 9 posts about running. I’ve since lost 15 pounds and then re-gained some after I developed an injury (which has kept me from running since May). I did PR in the 5K in January with a 24:10 (7:46 minutes per mile! I’ve posted 42 posts about beer. I owe a lot of what I’ve le...

running on cabernet | An adventure in miles with a side of grapes.
An adventure in miles with a side of grapes. Weekly Workout Recap – 06/01 – 06/07. June 8, 2015. Another week in the books. I love cutback weeks. Recap:. Planned: 4 mile run. 3 miles easy. I totally goofed when I read my training plan for the week and mixed up Monday and Wednesday’s planned workouts. Oops. My only goal for this run was to beat the rain. Which I did. Yay me. Finished in just under 30 mins. Plan: Strength workout stretch class. AM: 15 minutes on the elliptcal, 30 minute NTC workout. Click ...

Running on Candy......Fueled by Sugar, Rainbows and Glitter.
Running on Candy.Fueled by Sugar, Rainbows and Glitter. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Glimmer Gear is Amazing. (And PATIENT). OK so FOREVER ago I was contacted by Ali from Glimmer Gear. I was sent a bunch of slap bands to be worn at night for safety. Once it got warmer I grabbed a bunch of Team Chris members and we got together to test them out. The pictures are not that great since iPhones and night pics never mix well. Glimmer Gear has so many great products you NEED in your life. Check them out here.

Running on Change
A running hiking yoga workout healthy lifestyle blog. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. I have been taking a break since Ragnar but Austin's family wanted to do this Bubble Run 5k and I thought it looked like a blast! The babies hated the bubbles, they panicked every time we had to go near them but the older girls loved it. I don't know if it was because it was a themed race but it didn't seem like three miles it felt like one mile. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Ragnar aka two days and on...
