Next Marathon: August 2005. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Posted by Danny on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. 8 miles today. But really tough. I managed to run out towards the water today. (Was that too much information? I did make it out to Central Park. In case y...

Program, and while the main reason we did it was to support my brother, an MS patient, and the MS Society, it was a very personal event and milestone for me.

Writer, Teacher, Blogger. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. In the Kingdom of the Sick. Select Essays and Articles. On Running and Chronic Illness–An Update. April 23, 2014. There are many reasons I decided to start trying to run. Notice how I phrased that I am still such a novice that I can’t really say I run and am not even close to saying I’m a runner but I am almost 7 weeks into the C25K program and I’ll be the first to admit I am shocked at how much I love it. Monday, March 24, 2014. Race Report: 2014 Shamrock Marathon. For some races, you have the perfect training leading up to it, but the results don't speak for the quality of the training you did during that cycle. For me, the last. Marathon, I KNEW I had a better race in me, no matter what the weather threw us. And I just wanted to get to race day to have an opportunity to prove it. This is the largest sandbox ever!
