Applesauce Muffins | Kitchen, uncorked
https://njbrowne.wordpress.com/2015/09/23/applesauce-muffins
Sauces, Dips and Dressings. September 23, 2015. Can you believe it’s the first day of Autumn? What happened to September? It’s not like I didn’t see the warning signs; apples at the market, the arrival of pumpkin spice lattes and the need to wear a cozy sweater in the morning, it’s just that I kept telling myself that it was still summer. I was convinced that everything was just early this year. Apparently I was just late. 1 1/2 Cups sweet apples, peeled, cored and diced (I prefer Honeycrisp or galas).

Sauces, Dips and Dressings. February 5, 2015. Over the month of January I tried to focus my posts on healthier, lighter recipes. But with January safely behind us and Valentine’s Day less than two weeks away, I think it’s time to post a recipe that’s a bit more indulgent. Sort of like a reward for trying to eat so well in January. The other day my son mentioned to me that it had been a long time since I had bought Nutella. And asked if I. Peanut Butter Cookie Crust:. 1 Cup natural peanut butter. In a mix...

Sauces, Dips and Dressings. Crab and shrimp mac n’ cheese. September 11, 2015. The kids are back in school! Errr…I mean I’m so sad to see them go 😉. The day before the kids went back to school, we had an impromptu pool party at my father-in-laws house. Impromptu, in that we planned it all the evening before, after fishing for an invitation and promising to bring dinner 🙂 As it turned out, the whole family was able to make it and it turned into a great end of summer/back to school celebration. Tell me to check the name when her child’s name is barely visible… UGH! September 8, 2012. We had three cars, all Mazdas. We have a 2010 Mazda 3, 2009 Mazda 5, and an older Miata (I’m thinking 1996? Musings from a Stay at Home Chef - Recipes
Musings from a Stay at Home Chef. Meatballs with Tomato Sauce. I had a weird craving for meatballs one day after seeing a recipe for it on pinterest. Surprisingly, this recipe was very easy and not as time consuming as I thought it would be. This is probably the "fanciest" food I've ever made.all from scratch! I got the recipe from here. And made a few adjustments. I think this would be just as good with ground turkey or chicken. 15 pounds Ground Beef. 3 cloves Garlic, Minced. 3/4 cups Fine Bread Crumbs.
This Life. My Life.
This Life. My Life. Thursday, May 23, 2013. There are things that only time reveals. Things that only time knows. Everett's birthday is a Friday this year. Last year, it was a Thursday. The culmination of 22 weeks of fear. Of deep, soul wrenching, life encompassing pain. Forever changing the way I look at Thursdays. To know your child would die. Being told to basically expect a silent ultrasound. Or at best, a few minutes of life. I was terrified. Heartbroken. Sad. Just plain sad. Time reveals that even ...
