http://stayathomechef.weebly.com/recipes/bang-bang-shrimp
Musings from a Stay at Home Chef. I've never had bang bang shrimp before, but I've heard it's really good. When I found a recipe for it on Pintrest, I decided to give it a try. It turned out great! I got the recipe from here. With a few adjustments. 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined and cleaned. Vegetable oil for frying. 1/3 C light mayonnaise. 4-5 tsp Sriracha (chili garlic sauce). 1 tsp rice vinegar. 1/2 to 1 C skim milk. 3/4 C panko bread crumbs. 3/4 C all purpose flour. 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt.

Musings from a Stay at Home Chef. Another Pinterest recipe winner. I got the general idea from Pinterest, but altered the recipe a bit. I used mini peppers which took a while to stuff, so normal sized peppers are probably a better idea ;). 15-20 mini multi colored peppers OR 3-5 large peppers. 1/2 cup orzo pasta. 1/2 cup cooked ground beef (whichever way you cook your ground beef is fine). 1/4 cup tomatoe juice. 1 tsp garlic powder. Salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. 5 Let the orzo mixture cool.

Musings from a Stay at Home Chef. Meatballs with Tomato Sauce. I had a weird craving for meatballs one day after seeing a recipe for it on pinterest. Surprisingly, this recipe was very easy and not as time consuming as I thought it would be. This is probably the "fanciest" food I've ever made.all from scratch! I got the recipe from here. And made a few adjustments. I think this would be just as good with ground turkey or chicken. 15 pounds Ground Beef. 3 cloves Garlic, Minced. 3/4 cups Fine Bread Crumbs.
This Life. My Life.
This Life. My Life. Thursday, May 23, 2013. There are things that only time reveals. Things that only time knows. Everett's birthday is a Friday this year. Last year, it was a Thursday. The culmination of 22 weeks of fear. Of deep, soul wrenching, life encompassing pain. Forever changing the way I look at Thursdays. To know your child would die. Being told to basically expect a silent ultrasound. Or at best, a few minutes of life. I was terrified. Heartbroken. Sad. Just plain sad. Time reveals that even ...
