Sunday, February 19, 2006. I drove across to Tynemouth this morning and stopped into the dive centre. I picked up a dry suit and drove across to the sports centre at Blyth. In the water, showed the instructor that I could actually demonstrate the skills required and then out again. I was at the pool for about a half an hour, tops. Now I'll get a card from PADI. Saying that I can dive using a dry suit. If I wanted to. It was all over so quickly. I think I expected more fuss. Posted by Peggy @ 3:01 PM.

Tuesday, March 14, 2006. Next Diving Trip Planned. We have booked our next holiday. This time, instead of going to the Greek Islands (a wonderful place to be) we are going TO THE RED SEA! I am very excited and am looking forward to posting some envy-inducing photographs. On another note, the card that says I am a "speciality diver - dry suit" arrived in the post today. Saturday, April 22, 2006. Junior Advanced Open Water Diver! He is now an PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (Junior)! The above photo was taken upon the completion of his second dive of the day and he was, at that moment a newly qualified Advanced Open Water Diver. Well done George. We're so proud of him. We did our Deep Dive and Navigation Dive at Capernwray, the in-shore dive location nearest us. So, now when we go on our holiday next month, there will be no training to go through.
