It is estimated that Alzheimer’s disease currently affects 2.4 million to 4.5 million Americans. One of the really crappy things about the ALS diagnosis is that the disease progresses pretty quickly (in some cases) and there are no cures (yet) or medications that can slow it all down for more than a smidge (yet), so you are told to get your affairs in order and if you have something you want to do, do it.
